What is Beets and Beer?

  • L.A. Kitchen is a non profit that turns cosmetically imperfect produce into meals that feed the community. Beets and Beer takes this idea and combines it with funky DJ beats, refreshments, networking, and volunteer activities.
  • The goal of Beets and Beer is to bring together the community for what feels like just having fun with your coworkers and friends while helping to package a meal to be donated to one of our service partners the next day. We’ll be providing delicious L.A. Kitchen made small bites, a live DJ, and beer courtesy of Fort Point Beer Co. There will also be kombucha provided by Health Ade for those that aren’t beer inclined.
  • All for FREE, all you have to do is gather your colleagues and friends and show up! It’s like happy hour and volunteer service combined. The event is open to all community members whether they have been to L.A. Kitchen before or not. Beets and Beer is a great time to get to know our work.
