We are excited to partner with Edible LA for our newest conversation series, ‘Chef to Chef’. An intimate evening dedicated to celebrating chefs who are pushing boundaries and making waves in their own right.
We are kicking off the series with James Beard Award-winning Pastry Chef, Dominique Ansel, most widely known as the mastermind behind the Cronut. Named the World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2017 by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, Dominique has shaken up the pastry world with innovation and creativity at the heart of his work.
Dominique will be in conversation with L.A. Kitchen’s newest board member and co-founder of Blue Window, Chef Kajsa Alger. Kajsa’s pinches-and-handfuls approach to cooking, along with her creative passion for simple, nutritious, colloquial foods have paved the way for her new projects focused on developing plant based cuisine that reaches a lower price point demographic.
Our guests chefs will discuss the intersections of community empowerment, culinary arts and share their inspirations for being creative in the kitchen.

Doors open at 6:00pm. Conversation starts at 6:30pm. A selection of Dolin Estate Winery wines & L.A. Kitchen snacks will be served.
$5.00 tickets go towards supporting L.A. Kitchen’s non-profit programs.
This event is part of L.A. Kitchen’s ‘Power of Food’ series, aiming to inspire food activists and center voices not always heard in the mainstream food industry. Through cooking workshops and speakers we make culinary and food justice knowledge accessible to all.
